V2V Community Church Pastors- What an amazing week it has been in Kenya!

What an amazing week it has been in Kenya!

My wife and I traveled there to visit our Kenya branch and it was such an uplifting visit.

We got to see and spend time with Pastor Reuben and Doreen (head Pastors in Kenya) and as always it felt like we could have stayed there for far longer in their company, they are excellent hosts. We also got to spend time with the leadership team of the church, talking on the phone is one thing but nothing beats good old fashioned personal interaction face to face.

The growth of the church has been amazing, when God is part of something and it’s done His way you will see the physical evidence of His blessing.

The spiritual growth more than anything has been extremely pleasing to behold, the church is united in one purpose of standing up for Jesus and ensuring that the good news of His gospel is spread throughout Kenya and beyond.

When leaders operate unity and in their full authority in Christ Jesus the church will begin to perform miracles greater than Jesus, lives will be reconciled back to Christ, so many destinies will be realized rather than aborted and the leadership of the nation will ensure that God is at the center of every decision and law!

It is not the will of God for the church to lack authority like it presently does.

Whilst we were in Kenya the church had its first annual conference, it was great to fellowship with so many different people and just share the gospel with them, every

time I open my mouth to share the word of God I also speak to myself, when you are submitted to the authority of God you never stop listening, never stop growing and never stop being in awe of the revelation His word brings.

We really look forward to next year!

Please join us in prayer and fasting for the ‘Maasai’ people, they are a tribe in Kenya.

Like so many tribes that hold on to culture and traditions from generations passed down it is very hard for them to accept Christ.

We are standing in the gap to come against every blindness that is stopping them from receiving the gift of salvation and we bind the spirit called ‘neptune’ that stands against their salvation.

Matthew 16:19 “And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

Remember the bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 10:4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds

2 Peter 3:9 tells us that it is not God’s will that any should perish but that ALL should come to repentance.

Let us have compassion for the lost and those that are in a less fortunate position than we are, missing one meal a day and standing in prayer is the smallest sacrifice we can make to ensure our brothers and sisters are not lost for eternity.

If you are in the London area be sure to join us for our Good Friday service where we will be having a drama production, invite your family and friends and remember the sacrifice that was made thousands of years ago on the cross of Calvary.

Remember why we mark this season and play a role in ensuring the next generation know that Easter is totally about the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and not about bunnies and eggs.

Stay blessed, stay prayed up and have a wonderful week.
